Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child is a classic and should be on the shelf of any aspiring chef. My uncle, who is my cooking inspiration, raved about this cookbook so I had to have it. It's been on my bookshelf for years now collecting dust because so many recipes intimidate me. I know though how wonderful the recipes are from eating at my uncles so one day I will start working my way through this cookbook. One day I too will master the art of French cooking!
