I was really moved by the article, "What Broke My Father’s Heart". I found it all so upsetting. I was heartbroken for the author's mom and found myself scared for my parent's old-age, as well as my own. I cringe at the thought of my husband having to take care of me in this way. I would never want that for him. This article also sheds light on, and is an appalling reminder of, how broken our health care system is.

oh my god. this article upset me so much! But thank you for making sure others read it too. It's so important! Our health care system is broken- no communication- care for profit- no dignity in the name of technology and survival. It affected me deeply and inspires me to think greatly about my healthcare choices and my family's.
