If I could buy one style of shoe for the rest of my life it would be a wedge (wow, dejavu, I just said that two months ago). You can wear it with everything: dresses, skirts, shorts, jeans, trousers, maxis, bathing suit cover-ups and more.

I love wedges as well. One of the main reasons is that I seem to be able to wear a higher heel than I can with other styles, which is huge for me. I'm guessing it may be because one's weight can distribute over more of the whole foot versus something like a stiletto, where the ball of your foot is taking most of the weight.
