Farmers Market Dinner - California BLTs

Tonight I threw together a quick and easy dinner using some key ingredients from the farmers market. I made Ina's California BLTs, potato chips and my mother-in-law's salad. The BLTs were amazing thanks to the fresh tomatoes and delicious bacon from the market (bacon courtesy of Skagit River Ranch - regulars at the Ballard Farmers Market). I also used fresh white Tramezzino bread from Panzanella Bread Co which was perfect for the BLTs. And you can't beat a salad with such fresh ingredients, most notably the cherry tomatoes that are like candy right now. Easy dinner for a hot summer day!

P.S. I highly recommend Ina's method for cooking bacon whether you're cooking it for this recipe or another. It is super easy and there's no grease splattering all over your stove top.
