My friend Nicole had us over for Halloween dinner and trick-or-treating. Nicole doesn't do anything half-ass so of course the house was decorated to the nines and the food was fantastic and fitting for the holiday. Her main course was Rachel Ray's Pasta with Pumpkin and Sausage which is a fall favorite of mine. It's so good and hearty.

For dessert Nicole made the most delicious pumpkin cupcakes. She bought the William Sonoma Sprinkles Cupcake Mix in pumpkin flavor (in stores only I suspect) and used the recipe on the package for the cream cheese frosting. Delicious!
